Basic Food Safety and Hygiene Training
Basic food hygiene training teaches food handlers essential practices like proper handwashing, preventing contamination (biological, physical, chemical), safe food storage and cooking temperatures, effective cleaning, and pest control to prevent foodborne illnesses and meet legal standards. It's crucial for anyone working with food in restaurants, hotels, catering, and production, often mandated by local authorities like Dubai Municipality.
Person in Charge (PIC) Certification
A Person in Charge (PIC) Certification, mandated by Dubai Municipality, is for supervisors in food businesses to ensure food safety ownership, covering hygiene, foodborne illness prevention, temperature control, and legal responsibilities, with accredited training required for at least one person per shift to maintain compliance and pass exams for an official certificate.
HACCP Level 1, 2 and 3
HACCP Levels 1, 2, and 3 provide progressive training in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, catering to different roles: Level 1 offers basic HACCP awareness for all staff; Level 2 deepens understanding for food handlers and supervisors; and Level 3 trains managers in developing, implementing, and maintaining full HACCP systems.
Advanced Food Safety Programs
Advanced Food Safety programs focus on developing managers and supervisors for implementing, monitoring, and auditing comprehensive food safety systems like HACCP and international standards (ISO 22000, BRC, FSSC), covering in-depth microbiology, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
